Canon 10D & Orion ED80 Refractor
by Gary Honis
All images were taken from
my backyard deck observatory with an Orion ED80 APO refractor
equipped with a Celestron f/6.3 reducer providing an f/4.7 focal
ratio. ED80 was piggybacked on a 10 inch Meade LX200. Images were
autoguided using the software GUIDEDOG and a Toucam webcam. Image
acquisition was automatic using DSLR FOCUS. Skies were clear with
moderate light pollution and the ambient temperature was 10 degrees
Fahrenheit. NEAT Image was used for noise reduction.
