The large IC chip in the photo below is the Sunplus SPCA527A controller chip. An earlier version, the Sunplus SPCA525A controller chip, was used in previous Logitech webcams such as the Logitech Fusion, Logitech QCPro5000, Logitech QCPro For Notebooks and the Logitech QC Orbit/Sphere MP webcams. I could find no information on the SPCA527A.
