Ambient temperature of around 45 degrees fahrenheit allowed for low noise with the air-cooled Olympus C2000Z digital camera coupled to a 31mm Nagler eyepiece on a 20 inch Starmaster Dob.
Mosaic of five 32 second images. This was my first attempt at assembling a mosaic in photoshop. Problems included field rotation with the alt-az dob and vignetting from the eyepiece/digital camera lens. Used the rotate image command before alligning the images.
M31: Another try with six 32 second images:
Sum stack of 19 thirty-two second images
Sum stack of 25 thirty-two second images
